Avery Bradley is a key role man to the Los Angeles Lakers, but his leg injury has kept him out of the rotation over the past couple of days. While he's still not a lock to return immediately, he's on his way to full recovery in time for the coming week.

According to ESPN's Dave McMenamin, Bradley's hairline fracture on to his right leg will be given a second look to see if he can be integrated back to the lineup next week.

Bradley has been a solid contributor for the Purple and Gold this season. He's getting an average of 9.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists on 27.4 minutes a night. He's shooting at a solid 49% from the field, but his 29% accuracy from the three-point line leaves a lot to be desired.

While he's still out for the team, he took the time to rain praises on head coach Frank Vogel:

“I’ve never had a coach teach (like this) and feel comfortable enough to teach guys stuff they can improve on the defensive end,” Bradley said of Vogel, per Lakers Nation. “Like (Lakers center) Dwight (Howard at a recent practice), he’s showing how he can help our team by not fouling as much on certain plays. And he’s been doing that for everybody. Like even myself, I had been struggling a lot in the preseason, had a lot of fouls. But (now) I’m just trying to be efficient. It’s about a way you can help your team. I feel like it’s selfish when you’re fouling, just making plays that – going for steals every single possession was putting me out of position and putting my teammates in bad situations to commit fouls or for the team to score.”

The Lakers stand atop the Western Conference with a solid 19-3 win-loss record. With teammates like LeBron James and Anthony Davis, Bradley has a great chance to win a championship ring.
