Bronny James has been making headlines on the high school basketball scene of late. The fact that he's the first-born son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James obviously has a lot to do with this, but you also have to credit the young man for the eye-popping athleticism that he brings to the table.

A recent video clip of Bronny throwing down a one-handed tomahawk slam on a fastbreak play is currently makings its rounds on social media. Our friends over from Bleacher Report decided to edit the dunk side-by-side with a LeBron slam that looked eerily similar. The result was simply fascinating:

That looked like Bronny took it right out of his dad's own playbook. The 17-year-old has clearly been watching a lot of LeBron James film, and this particular dunk looks like a carbon copy of his dad's own throwdown.

At the end of the clip, you can see LeBron getting out of his chair to celebrate his son's dunk. The Lakers superstar was absolutely hyped by the eyebrow-raising play. It even looked like LeBron was going to hit the silencer celly or something.

Bronny just has two more years before he becomes eligible for the NBA Draft. LeBron jas already indicated his desire to play with his son once he gets in the league, and The King is clearly doing all he can to make this dream come to fruition. Whether or not they do it with the Lakers, however, remains to be seen.
