The Los Angeles Kings could use every form of support right now, as their backs are against the wall in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Vegas Knights. Los Angeles Lakers center Brook Lopez has surely done his part to inject some much-needed confidence to the Kings by donning an Anze Kopitar jersey during an exit interview, as captured in a photo by Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints.

The Kings are down 0-2 against Vegas, the expansion team that is shockingly taking the National Hockey League by storm. The Knights finished the regular season with a 51-24-7 record along with 109 points –fourth most in the league and most in the Pacific division. The Kings, on the other hand, went 45-29-8 (98 points) prior to the playoffs.

The Kings have a chance to cut down Vegas’ series lead in half when they host the Knights Sunday at Staples Center, but they will have to find their offense soon as goalie Jonathan Quick can’t do it all by himself. During Game 2’s 2-1 overtime road loss to the Vegas, Quick turned away 54 of the 56 shots the Knights fired at him.

Speaking of Kopitar, he needs to start making his presence felt. Kopitar led the Kings in points, goals, and assists in the regular season, but has yet to find the back of the net in these playoffs.

With Lopez's Lakers and the L.A. Clippers failing to make it to playoffs, it’s all on the Kings now to try to bring home a championship trophy to Tinseltown.
