Los Angeles Lakers star Carmelo Anthony is a future hall of famer, he is a 10-time All-Star, three-time Olympic gold medalist, and an NCAA champion with Syracuse.

However, despite the accolades, the newly signed Lakers forward recently revealed  there is one thing that is keeping him up at night and that's winning an NBA Championship.

Via Bleacher Report:

This is the one thing I'm missing. This is the one thing that keeps me up at night, that motivates me because I don't have it.

After his failed stint with the Houston Rockets, a lot of people wrote Anthony off as they assumed his NBA career is already done. Melo was literally inactive in the NBA for a year.

He was then signed by the Portland Trail Blazers a year after that hiatus with the league. The Blazers took a chance and helped revive Melo's career.

Once a ball-dominant player who is used to be the primary option in offense, Melo transitioned into a role-player. He made necessary sacrifices and adjustments just to adapt in today's league. Anthony went from being a superstar, to a sixth man off the bench.

Fast forward to this day, the Lakers who have one of Melo's best friends in LeBron James, signed him in hopes of winning the NBA championship after an early exit in the Playoffs last season.

The Lakers will likely plug Melo into a scorer off the bench similar to that of Kyle Kuzma's role before.

At age 37, Melo's window to win an NBA championship is closing quickly. This will be his last chance to win one as the Lakers just revamped their roster and currently have Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis and James.

Winning with his buddy LeBron James with the Lakers is the perfect way to end this decorated career of his.

Can Carmelo Anthony finally win his first ring with the Lakers?

Will Melo finally sleep at night?
