Chris Bosh and LeBron James played and won championships together back in their days in South Beach with the Miami Heat. But their friendship did not factor in Bosh saying that Anthony Davis “is more crucial” to the Los Angeles Lakers than the four-time NBA MVP.

In a recent appearance on Speak For Yourself, Bosh was asked if he agrees with host Marcellus Wiley's take that Davis is the more important player between the two superstars. and this was what the former Miami Heat big man had to say about it:

“Yeah, I would agree. They and I think Bron would agree with you too. They make it a point to get AD the ball when he’s healthy. He’s very much so involved in the offense. Whether he or LeBron are taking the most shots, it’s still a one-two punch. You can’t tell which one is number one. He’s a huge, huge part of this team.”

A topic about LeBron James and Anthony Davis can always be up for a tasty debate. On one hand, the Lakers just got a reality check on how it's like to play without Davis when they lost to the Phoenix Suns minus the big man in Game 5 of their first-round series.

On the other hand, it's hard to deny the idea that it's LeBron who's the engine that runs the Lakers. Moreover, if your sprinkle this debate with some stats, you will have an even stronger case for LeBron, as the Lakers are much worse when The King is off the floor and AD is on than when it's James is on the court and Davis is out of it.

At the end of the day, Laker fans just want to see their team win and survive the first round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs.
