Damian Lillard is still in search of his first NBA title, but according to Ice Cube, it won't happen with the Portland Trail Blazers. Instead, the famed rapper and actor believes Dame Time should join the Los Angeles Lakers to make that a reality.
The Big 3 founder said as much in Stephen A.'s world amid the trade rumors surrounding the Blazers guard.

Now, it should be noted that Ice Cube is a huge Lakers fan. With that said, it is not surprising for him to endorse his favorite team to one of the most-talked about stars of the offseason. Besides, every team would probably want Damian Lillard on their roster if he's available.
It's hard to blame Ice Cube, though. Lillard himself has sparked rumors that he wants to be traded to the Purple and Gold with his recent actions. Aside from being spotted with LeBron James, theĀ Blazers scorer and playmaker also recently posted a photo on Instagram that just screams Lakers.
Dame has basically denied all the rumors in a recent statement, but until he says so himself that he'll be staying with the Blazers, the rumor mill will continue churning out stories based on every action he makes.

It is still unknown what Lillard plans to do or if he'll ever join the Lakers, but hey, any fan can have that dream scenario of a superstar joining theirĀ teams
