Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Danny Green says he will try his best to replicate his impressive 3-point shooting from last season.

With the Toronto Raptors, Green shot a career-high 45.5 percent from beyond the arc. The sharpshooter figures to get a lot of wide-open looks on the Lakers playing alongside superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

“Playing with LeBron and AD and obviously the other great players,” Green told Mike Bresnahan of Spectrum Sports Net. “Dwight (Howard), Kuz (Kyle Kuzma), (Rajon) Rondo, AB (Avery Bradley), so many guys we have on this team and kind of feed off them.

“They’re gonna push the pace, they’re gonna create open shots. Not just for myself, but for them. So just have fun, push the pace. It’s hard to live up to that again. I’ll try my best to. Try to shoot as good as I did last year, if not better.”

LeBron and Davis command double-teams every time they have the ball in the paint. Both stars are willing passers and will look for Danny Green on the perimeter when they get doubled.

Green is a two-time NBA champion and one of the best shooters in the game. He holds career averages of 9.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists while shooting 42.4 percent from the field and 40.4 percent from the 3-point line.

Green is by far the best 3-point shooter on the Lakers.
