Los Angeles Lakers center DeMarcus Cousins is enjoying his summer.

Cousins is currently in the Bahamas with John Wall, Eric Bledsoe and Draymond Green. The new Lakers star also got some work in, playing one-on-one with a fan while wearing slippers.

The Lakers signed DeMarcus Cousins to a one-year, $3.5 million contract this offseason. Boogie played with the Golden State Warriors last year.

As long as Cousins was shooting jump shots against this fan, it's all good. Hopefully, Boogie wasn't driving to the paint while wearing slippers. That has sprained ankle written all over it.

On the Lakers, Cousins is reuniting with Anthony Davis and Rajon Rondo. The three were teammates on the New Orleans Pelicans during the 2017-18 season. Nothing is set in stone, but the Lakers' projected starting lineup for next season is LeBron James, Danny Green, Kyle Kuzma, Anthony Davis and JaVale McGee.

Cousins will likely be McGee's primary backup at the center spot. The four-time All-Star averaged 16.3 points and 8.2 rebounds last season with the Warriors in 30 games while shooting 48.0 percent from the field, 27.4 percent from beyond the arc and 73.6 percent from the free-throw line.

The Lakers are hoping Cousins can stay healthy next season.

When Boogie is healthy and engaged on both ends of the floor, he's still one of the best players in the NBA.
