The Los Angeles Lakers will start Dwight Howard over JaVale McGee in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets.

Dwight Howard has been playing with a lot of energy and effort in the Nuggets series thus far. The Lakers veteran has also been trash-talking Denver star big man Nikola Jokic a lot, so Game 4 should be a fun contest.

Howard is averaging 6.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game for the Lakers in the 2020 playoffs at Walt Disney World. After almost being out of the NBA for good after the 2018-19 season ended, Howard has been a solid performer for the Lakers in a reserve role.

It would be quite the story if Howard wins his first title with the Lakers in Orlando out of all places. The eight-time All-Star was a superstar with the Orlando Magic. His exit from the Magic was pretty ugly, so was his 2012-13 season with the Lakers.

However, it's all come full circle for Howard, who is starting in a playoff game again.
