JR Smith is failing again, this time on celebrations with his Los Angeles Lakers teammates

While celebrating at half-court, LeBron James and Alex Caruso went up for a chest bump. Smith wanted to get in on the action, but he completely missed the mark.

This is vintage JR Smith, who is well known for his gaffes both on and off the court. The veteran often makes a fool of himself, and he certainly did that here.

For what it's worth, the Lakers swingman already has one moment that lives in infamy from when he played alongside LeBron with the Cleveland Cavaliers. During the 2018 NBA Finals, with 4.7 seconds left in a tied game, Smith forgot what the score was and, after grabbing a rebound, dribbled out the clock.

In that situation, Smith owned up to it and was glad it happened to him instead of someone who would be more sensitive over it.

“I told somebody right after the game that I’m glad it happened to me as opposed to anybody else on my team,” Smith said. “To be in that situation is tough, and it’s not a situation everybody can handle.”

Smith will more than likely have a similar outlook on this flub, and most will just look at it as him being JR Smith.
