Los Angeles Lakers power forward Julius Randle enjoyed his best season thus far in the recently-concluded regular season and part of his success is due to knowing where he needs to find some dosage of wisdom. He needn't look far as franchise legend Kobe Bryant was readily available to provide insights on how to hone one's craft.

Randle revealed to ClutchPoints' Ryan Ward what Bryant told him from not so long ago.

“Two or three years ago, Kobe told me if you want to be unguardable the trick is if everybody knows what you're going to do and they still can't stop me.”

While Randle has yet to reach that level, one cannot help but look back on Bryant's time in the NBA. He was the epitome of an unguardable player. Everyone knew about his patented moves, but the results were the same.

Bryant's words seemed more like a description than a tip. However, the whole world knows how the former league MVP reached elite status and that is through his legendary work ethic. Randle knows this as he played with Bryant for a while. The secret is out there, but it's not for everyone.

After playing in all 82 games for the Lakers, Randle averaged 16.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. His future with the Tinseltown team remains in the balance, waiting for the big fishes in free agency to make their moves.

But the Kentucky product won't be short of suitors if the Lakers decide that he's not going to be a part of their future.
