Kobe Bryant blindly agreed with LeBron James' sentiment of a distracted locker room, after the Los Angeles Lakers icon admitted he hasn't had time to read or watch anything Lakers related with his post-NBA-retirement projects.

“What he’s saying is true,” Bryant told Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated. “I can’t speak to what the locker room dynamics are, who he could be referring to, I don’t know anything about that. On the surface, you have to be obsessive with the game. And then understanding that, for this organization, the only thing that matters is winning championships. And there’s no in-between, right?… That’s how this market is, man. That’s what the L.A. brand stands for, man.”

James reportedly wasn't aiming at his teammates with the comment, but just frustrated with the narrative around the Lakers after having dropped two games to the New Orleans Pelicans and the Memphis Grizzlies before bouncing back on Wednesday night.

The Lakers were 6-11 without James during his absence and 4-6 since his return to the court, still outside the playoff picture and battling for a potential spot in a loaded Western Conference.

Bryant knows the deep demand of this market, as well of the implications of fighting for a spot in the West, where he played all 20 years of his career. However, his response was nearly blindfolded, as he had no context of what the issues in the locker room were or previous comments James had made on his teammates and their dedication.
