Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma called out the media in a Twitter post on Wednesday night, telling them to “grow up.”

Kuzma's sentiments likely have something to do with the recent happenings within the Lakers organization.

Before Los Angeles faced the Portland Trail Blazers to finish the season, Magic Johnson announced in an impromptu press conference that he would be stepping down as the team's president of basketball operations. There was plenty of speculation about why this happened, including just how competent Magic was at his job, among other rumors.

Furthermore, there has been a lot of speculation surrounding the future of Lakers head coach Luke Walton and his staff, with multiple reports suggesting he was on the verge of being fired. That hasn't happened yet and may wind up not happening.

The Lakers instead have fired Marco Nunez, the team's head athletic trainer, following a season in which Lakers players missed a combined 212 games due to various injuries, which is arguably the main reason why they missed the playoffs this season.

While there have been a ton of rumors surrounding the Lakers in general, the reporting of the firing of Nunez may have been the final straw, causing Kuzma to speak out.
