Los Angeles Lakers teammates LeBron James and JaVale McGee put together an impressive sequence of plays in the fourth quarter of Tuesday night's 120-91 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
Though the Lakers were leading by a healthy margin, James and McGee were still playing hard. With just over seven minutes remaining in the final frame, James streaked down the court on defense for one of his patented chase-down blocks. Quinn Cook corralled the loose ball, then lofted it ahead to McGee in transition for an alley-oop slam.

James logged 35 minutes in Tuesday night's win, scoring 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field (1-of-3 from beyond the arc), 12 assists, six rebounds and one steal. The King served as a facilitator for much of the night. McGee added 10 points and four rebounds in his 16 minutes of playing time.
It was Anthony Davis who led the charge for Los Angeles, however. The former No. 1 overall pick needed just three quarters to make NBA history. He posted the fourth 40-point, 20-rebound game of his seven-year career and set a franchise record with 26 made free throws.

The Lakers will be back in action on Friday night, when they'll travel to Dallas for a matchup against the Mavericks. Tip-off inside the American Airlines Center is set for 9:30 p.m. ET, with ESPN having live broadcast coverage.
