Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James says he's probably never going to get over Kobe Bryant's tragic passing.

James wouldn't reveal if he was at Bryant's memorial on Monday at Staples Center, but he did speak to reporters on Tuesday about how there's never going to be closure with Kobe's death:

“It's never a closure. It's never going to be a closure,” James said, via ESPN. “I mean, we continue to live on his legacy and continue to have our hearts heavy with both sadness and with happiness for his family that are still here. So it's not a closure. But it was a celebration which was well received from not only the Laker faithful, not only the family here, but everybody around the world.”

It for some reason still doesn’t seem real that Bryant is not with us anymore. While his spirit no doubt lives among us, basketball and life in general won’t be the same without the Black Mamba.

The same goes for Gigi Bryant. She loved basketball just like her dad and was on her way to becoming a special player. That being said, the best thing people can do to honor Gianna and Kobe Bryant is by working hard and living every moment to the fullest, which is the example they set.

LeBron and the Lakers currently have the best record in the Western Conference. Fans are hoping the Purple and Gold franchise can capture banner No. 17 this season in honor of Kobe and Gianna.
