It's a done deal. LeBron James and Anthony Davis will completely be involved in the offseason moves of the Los Angeles Lakers. When we say involved, they're gonna help decide who should stay. You reading this, Kyle Kuzma?

Lakers vice president of basketball operations Rob Pelinka recently confirmed that LeBron and Davis will be sought for comments by team brass over crucial decisions. He said it's only right for their two superstars to be included in the critical discussions to help them move forward (via Silver Screen and Roll).

“I think when it comes to roster building, you guys know we’ve been very collaborative. Anthony Davis and LeBron James are championship pillars of this franchise for years to come and of course, they’re going to be involved in how we build our roster and how we have built our roster. (They are) both great basketball minds, and Frank (Vogel) as well.”

It's no secret that LeBron has been involved in roster decisions for most of his career. He has been responsible for bringing over players to help him win championships. But one could argue that this offseason could be his most crucial, especially coming off the heels of the Lakers' first round exit in the NBA Playoffs. Guys like Kuzma, Dennis Schroder, Montrezl Harrell, and Talen Horton-Tucker are being tossed in trade rumors.

Pelinka said this only underscored the importance of having collaborative efforts.

“I think the cohesiveness in making these decisions between your star players, your head coach and the front office is really important and that will continue to be our process going forward.”

Obviously, LeBron James and Anthony Davis have tough decisions ahead of them.
