Although Los Angeles Lakers superstar forward LeBron James was already tabbed as an All-Star starter for the Western Conference earlier in the month, that certainly doesn't mean that the NBA living legend isn't paying attention to the rest of this year's roster. With the reserves for both the Western and Eastern Conferences being revealed on Tuesday evening, it is safe to say that James is quite unhappy with the absence of Phoenix Suns standout guard Devin Booker, who was once again left out of the All-Star Game.

Not only is LeBron James upset with this outcome, but he went as far as to say that Booker is the “most disrespected” player in today's NBA — which may not be much of a hot take at the present moment.

It is worth noting, though, that LeBron James' Lakers teammate in fellow superstar forward Anthony Davis is currently injured so his spot on the Western Conference's roster will soon be up for grabs. In all likelihood, Booker will ultimately be added to the fray as San Antonio Spurs shooting guard DeMar DeRozan also remains an option for the Western Conference reserves. If Booker is eventually added, the Suns will feature two All-Stars in 2021-22 as veteran point guard Chris Paul has already been named to the team.

LeBron James is aware that in addition to Paul and the aforementioned Davis (for now), the Western Conference bench will also feature Los Angeles Clippers swingman Paul George, Utah Jazz point guard Donovan Mitchell, Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert, New Orleans Pelicans big man Zion Williamson and Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard.

The 2021 NBA All-Star Game will be held on Sunday, March 7 in Atlanta, a game which has been met with some degree of controversy and concern, but which will represent an entertainment extravaganza and a welcome bit of respite for basketball fans who still want to see the brightest talents in professional basketball show their skills, LeBron James included.
