The Los Angeles Lakers season has been a rollercoaster to say the least. It all started in the offseason, when LeBron James decided to take his talents to Los Angeles. Since then, they've had some major highs and lows.
Recently, however, they've been riding a low, as the Lakers can't find their groove. They're tied for 10th place in the Western Conference with a 29-31 record — three games back from a playoff spot. Even worse, they've lost six of their last eight games.
Drama always finds a way to make bad situations more interesting, as James has talked about work ethic multiple times this year. Focusing solely on basketball.
Some people have had a problem with those comments due to James being involved in many projects outside basketball himself.
One of the bigger examples of this is the album he helped rapper 2 Chainz on. According to Robby Kalland of Uproxx, a hype video appears to show LeBron in the studio at 11:43 PM on February 1. The very next day he sat out against the Golden State Warriors due to “Load Management”.
James denies this to be the case.

There are a few good points here.
Also something he didn't mention was that this wasn't an official time. The video that was released to hype up the album flashed the date and time at the beginning.
There's no reason to believe that was actually the time and date though. It's not uncommon for dates to be changed (or simply messed up) to make something more aesthetically pleasing.
In this case, the album is announced to be coming out on March 1 at the end of the video. It looks better to show them working on the album exactly one month before instead throwing an extra 10 days on top of that.
Let's be honest, everything LeBron James does tends to be put under the microscope, so drama will always follow him. His play on the court speaks for itself though.
