Bronny James has missed his entire sophomore season thus far, recovering from a knee surgery he had in February. That’s why in Los Angeles Lakers star and father LeBron James had to show full support in Bronny’s debut, inviting Drake along to watch as well.

Sierra Canyon hasn’t missed a beat without the Lakers star’s son. They posted an immaculate 15-0 record, punching their ticket to their fourth straight finals appearance. But it sure doesn’t hurt to have Bronny back in the fold.

The gym sure got star-studded real quick. Check out the Lakers icon pulling up to the court, with the Toronto-based rapper following right behind him, via L.A. Daily News’ Tarek Fattal.

Bronny James came off the bench, but made an immediate impact when he got an opportunity to take the floor. The 16-year-old guard got a key strip and score to inch his team closer in a tightly-contested first quarter.

While they were there to see Bronny, LeBron James, Drake, and even J.R. Smith were all left impressed by another young prospect – Amari Bailey. The Lakers star had to get out of his chair, even holding his hands to his head in disbelief.

LeBron James has been spending his time off wisely. Catching some NBA action from the sidelines, and enjoying his family time. The Lakers faithful hopes his early exit this season can lead to another strong run at the title next season.
