LeBron James is doing incredible things in his Year-18 NBA season. But the Los Angeles Lakers star can only defy Father Time for so long.

King James got emphatically stuffed right at the rim by Phoenix Suns defender Torrey Craig. Check out the epic denial on the Lakers star here:

Here's another look at the block in slow-mo:

LeBron James has a huge burden on his shoulders as he clashes with the Suns with Anthony Davis out for the Lakers. AD's status for Game 6 remains uncertain, but things aren't looking great for his chances to suit up.

The Lakers frontman is preparing for the worst. James spoke with the media after the 30-point drubbing at the hands of the Suns in Game 5, indicating that his mentality is to take on the challenge without his star running mate.

“My mindset is that he’s not going to be able to play in Game 6,” James said about Davis in his postgame Zoom with reporters. “If something changes, then we’ll go from there. But I’m preparing as if he’s not.” (via ClutchPoints' Michael Corvo)

The Lakers face an uphill battle going in undermanned against a sturdy Suns team. But when you have LeBron James on your squad, you'll always have a fighting chance.
