Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James may arguably be the best basketball player in the world, but that doesn't mean he doesn't make a mental mistake from time to time.

Late in Sunday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans, James was tasked with inbounding the ball to teammate Kyle Kuzma for him to take up the court. However, it didn't exactly go as planned.

With no defender in sight, the pass should be about as easy as it gets. However, perhaps not expecting the referee to make the call, James dribbled the ball before the inbound resulting in a travel and therefore turnover for the Lakers

Regardless of the careless play, LeBron James and the Lakers were able to secure the victory, beating Zion Williamson and the Pelicans, 122-114.

The four-time NBA MVP was excellent in the win scoring 34 points, dishing out 13 assists and grabbing 12 rebounds for his 13th triple-double of the season.
