With the NBA finally returning on July 30 to “the bubble” in Orlando, Florida’s Disney World, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers posted on Instagram about returning to action and “destroying whoever in front of me.”

As you can see, it shows an unconscious James in a cryogenic tank, which he claims is just so he can fully rest and recuperate before he returns with the Lakers to “destroy.”

Certainly, the Lakers were in a prime position to destroy before the NBA was put on permanent hiatus due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. James and the Lake Show had the second-best record in the league at 49-14 before the NBA shut down, trailing only the Milwaukee Bucks’ robust 53-12 mark.

King James, for his part, was looking his typical MVP-level self before the season was temporarily shelved, and alongside his new superstar partner, Anthony Davis, the Purple and Gold were looking like one of the most formidable teams in the league alongside the aforementioned Bucks and their intercity rival the LA Clippers.

However, only one of those teams has LeBron, so odds are high that that would be the one to elevate their level come playoff time.

Now that James has confirmed that he’s ready to “destroy” his competition in the bubble, it seems the rest of the league is on blast.

Remember, James missed the playoffs last season for the first time since his sophomore season – all the way back in 2004-05 – so it seems that the living legend is hungry to nab his fourth championship.
