There have been several instances this past season where LeBron James looked very much his age. Sure, the Los Angeles Lakers star has still been putting up superstar numbers, but it hasn't looked as dominant as in years past.

On Saturday night, LeBron James showed the entire NBA world that he still has a ton of gas left in his 37-year-old tank. The King carried the Lakers to a resounding win over Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in a masterful 56-point performance for the ages. 

The Lakers star joined some rather prestigious company as he became just the 4th player in the history of the NBA to record a 50-point game at age 37 or older. He joins the the likes of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, two of his all-time great peers, and scoring legend Jamal Crawford who was the oldest to drop 50 when he was 39 years old back in 2019.

LeBron James' wrestling match with Father Time continues to sway in his favor for the time being, but he won't win the battle forever. That's why, love him or hate him, Lakers fan or not, we must all learn to appreciate him while he's still playing in this league.
