LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are being viewed as heavy favorites to win the 2020 NBA Finals, according to BetOnline.ag.
The Lakers, who came into the postseason as the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, are listed at -350 as of Wednesday. The Heat, who have scrapped their way to the Finals, are listed at +280. Other betting establishments actually had the Lakers opening this series at -440, though the numbers have come down a bit since.
What about Finals MVP odds?
LeBron James is currently viewed as the favorite to win his fourth Finals MVP at -115, according to BetOnline.ag. Anthony Davis is +200, with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo both well behind at +750.
The King was out of commission due to a groin injury for much of last season, which is why the Lakers failed to make the playoffs. This season, however, the former No. 1 overall pick is back to form and then some.
James has played well in recent games, recording his 27th career playoff triple-double in Saturday's closeout win over the Nuggets (38 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists).

Through 15 playoffs appearances this season, James has racked up averages of 26.7 points on 54.7 percent shooting from the field (34.9 percent from beyond the arc), 10.3 rebounds, 8.9 assists, 1.3 steals and a block in 35.0 minutes per outing.
Though he has led the Lakers to the Finals for the first time in 10 years, James knows there is still more work to be done:
“Right now, it don't mean s— unless I get it done,” James told ESPN following the Lakers' 117-107 Game 5 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Saturday to win the Western Conference title. “I got to get it done.”
Let's see if James can lead the Lakers to a 17th NBA championship. The oddsmakers certainly think he can.
