Duke Blue Devils phenom Zion Williamson suffered a knee injury on Duke's first possession of the game during their matchup with the North Carolina Tar Heels on Wednesday night, as his foot actually blew threw his sneaker as Williamson pivoted and slipped. Afterward, Los Angeles Lakers' star LeBron James took to Twitter to voice his concern for the top prospect:

There were some who were saying earlier in the season that Williamson should just sit for the rest of the way in preparation for the NBA Draft in June.

This is exactly why, as an injury was literally the worst thing that could have happened to the freshman.

Likened by some to Charles Barkley, Williamson is considered the consensus No. 1 overall draft pick this summer.

One of the most unique prospects we have seen in quite some time, Williamson is 6-foot-6 and weighs around 285 pounds, leading some to question whether or not he actually has a position in the NBA. However, others have said he will get by on his freakish athleticism alone.

That being said, in today's space-and-pace game, Williamson will have to develop some semblance of a perimeter shot in order to make it as a small-ball 5, as he is shooting just 29.2 percent from three-point range this season.

Overall on the year, Williamson is averaging 22.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 1.9 blocks over 29.2 minutes per game while shooting 68.3 percent from the floor and 66.9 percent from the free-throw line.

The Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers will likely have the best chances of winning the No. 1 draft pick in the lottery.
