Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James caught wind of how the MVP voting went, and let's just say he was not pleased with the final ballot.

The NBA earlier announced that Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks was this season's winner, which is unsurprising. However, LeBron appears to be appalled by how he got just 16 first-place votes as opposed to Giannis' 85:

LeBron James already had a hunch that Antetkounmpo was the overwhelming favorite to bag his second consecutive MVP award this season, but the Lakers star did not expect such a landslide.

To be fair, Giannis had a tremendous season with the Bucks this term. He led Milwaukee to the best record in the NBA for the second year running, and his numbers were just insane. Then again, much has been made of how amazing LeBron has been for the Lakers as well, so at the end of the day, one could argue that they both deserved the award.

James included the LOL emojis in his tweet, but this wasn't exactly his mood when he was asked about the voting during his post-game interview on Friday. LeBron straight out said that he was ā€œpissedā€ with how the vote went, and he had no intention of keeping his feelings to himself.

Be that as it may, the more important thing here is that the Lakers just took one more step towards achieving their ultimate goal this season. They defeated the Denver Nuggets in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Friday, and are now just three victories away from a trip to the NBA Finals.
