Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was tuned in to Sunday night's captivating matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders. The Chiefs came up with a huge win in what turned out to be a back-and-forth contest, and this was thanks to an awesome go-ahead Patrick Mahomes TD pass with 30 seconds remaining in the contest.

Unsurprisingly, LeBron gave his seal of approval to Mahomes' heads-up-play via Twitter:

The Chiefs and the Raiders exchanged touchdowns in the final few minutes of the tightly-contested matchup, but in the end, it was Mahomes and the defending champs that had the last laugh. The reigning Super Bowl MVP took his time to make a tremendous long-distance pass to a wide-open Travis Kelece down the middle. With the victory, the Chiefs were able to avenge their one and only defeat of the season, which came in Week 5 against Las Vegas.

As for LeBron James, the four-time NBA MVP is himself a huge football fan. Sunday produced one of the most exciting games of the season thus far, and it clearly put a smile on LeBron's face.

This isn't the only thing The King has been smiling about of late. The Lakers have made some big moves in the offseason so far, and the addition of Dennis Schoder and Montrezl Harrell are expected to have a significant impact on L.A.'s title defense next term. On Sunday, it was announced that the Lakers were also able to recruit veteran big man Marc Gasol to Los Angeles, which is clearly another huge win for the defending champs.
