Patrick Beverley has been quite a thorn on the side of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. It is clear, however, that the feisty Timberwolves guard holds LeBron in very high regard. So much so, that Pat Bev literally attempted to recruit James to Minnesota on live TV.

Beverley was a guest on ESPN's Get Up program on Tuesday and the panel had a discussion about whether or not the Lakers talisman was done winning titles. Beverley refused to accept this notion. He then went on to say that perhaps LeBron could win his next championship with the Timberwolves:
âOr, you know, Minnesota. Who knows?â Beverley said (h/t Jonathan Sherman of Lakers Daily). âHey listen, great people there. Oh my goodness, itâs great people. Even during the winters, you see the snow. The tress change colors, man. The taxes are much, much lower than L.A.â
For what it's worth, LeBron is under contract with the Lakers until 2023. This only means that if he so pleases, he could actually walk away from LA as a free agent next summer.
James has already publicly declared his intention to join any team that decides to draft his son, Bronny, in the 2023 NBA Draft so perhaps Beverley better start talking to the Timberwolves brass about this idea.
