The Los Angeles Lakers suffered one of their most embarrassing losses of the season (unfortunately, there have been more than a few) on Saturday as they were utterly blown out by the Denver Nuggets, 133-96. After the game, LeBron James was not at all in a jovial mood and his surprising actions could spell more trouble for the hapless Lakers.

As it turns out, LeBron refused to speak to the media after the loss — something that is not at all a common occurrence for The King (h/t Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation):

Throughout his 19 years in the league, LeBron has earned a reputation for being very media-friendly. The fact that the Lakers superstar refused to address the press after Saturday's loss does not only show how frustrated James is but more importantly, that everything clearly isn't peachy within the team at the moment.

LeBron did take to Twitter to send a heartfelt apology to Lakers fans everywhere as he promised better days in the future.

The Lakers return to action on Monday night as they take on a tough test against the Utah Jazz. LeBron's promise of a much-improved LA side better come sooner rather than later, with his team currently out of the playoff picture out West.
