Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has been very vocal about Tuesday's tragic events in a Texas elementary school that saw 19 children and two adults fatally shot by an enraged gunman. It's been a very sobering past 24 hours and LeBron has not been shy about speaking his mind about this latest round of extreme violence in America.

The Lakers star shared a tweet pertaining to gun control in the country. Clearly, LeBron believes that something must be done about this matter:

LeBron did not speak directly about gun control, but there's no denying that this is the message the Lakers talisman is trying to deliver here. If there were no guns, then there would be no violence. Obviously, this is not an all-encompassing solution to this problem and it would be impossible to comprehensively control the sale and use of firearms in the United States.

There's no denying that this is a polarizing issue but I believe it would be safe to assume that most Americans would agree that it's all about not letting these deadly weapons get into the hands of the wrong people. Based on his statement here, it sounds to me like this is what Lakers star LeBron James is pointing out as well.
