Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is enjoying the offseason in every way possible. He was recently seen rapping to Drake’s new CLB album, was training with Russell Westbrook, and apparently took a trip with his wife to Italy. While having a nice meal, the King had a music icon come up and visit his table. None other than Elton John, via TMZ.

James was in Nerano, Italy for a little bit of a getaway when Elton had to introduce himself. The Lakers forward and his entourage looked delighted by what he had to say but I mean, it’s not every day you meet a music legend like Elton John.

Now, LeBron is back in LA getting ready for the upcoming NBA season, which starts in a little over a month. The Lakers look poised to ring-chase after a terrific offseason where they added numerous pieces around their two superstars. There have been doubters though, claiming LA added players who are far too old. But, James won’t care. He and Anthony Davis will be coming back with a vengeance after an injury-riddled campaign where the Lakers bowed out in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

As for Elton John, I’m sure he’s not a huge basketball fan, but the Brit was likely star-struck considering LeBron James is basically the most famous NBA player in the world.
