It's not only Naomi Osaka who is hyped up about her partnership with LeBron James. Even the Los Angeles Lakers star couldn't help but get excited for what the Tennis star and their new media company can accomplish.

Osaka and her agent Stuart Duguid, in partnership with the Lakers forward and his SpringHill Company, launched the production company called Hana Kuma–which translates to “flower bear” in Japanese. As reported earlier, it aims to produce and deliver content on “culturally-specific” issues that are still “universal to all audiences.”

“I've built my career taking a different approach than those around me and because my journey has been so different it's opened my eyes to all the incredible stories out there that aren't getting told. Stories that are global, about a variety of cultures and points of view, about important social issues,” Osaka wrote on Instagram.

After Naomi Osaka made the announcement, LeBron James took to Twitter to share how proud he is to partner with the WTA star and former World no. 1 in the venture. He highlighted SpringHill's mission to empower people, which he believes Osaka and Hana Kuma can do as well.

“There’s reason we call ourselves an Empowerment Company. This incredible woman and the stories she is going to bring to life is EXACTLY what we about!!! Incredibly proud to call her my partner,” the Lakers leader said of Osaka.

It remains to be seen what the first project of Hana Kuma will be, but there is no doubt there are high expectations as fans of James and Osaka wait for it.
