The Los Angeles Lakers might be out of the playoffs, but LeBron James is still having an absolute time off the court. Ahead of July’s release of Space Jam 2, the King threw a massive release party at Six Flags Magic Mountain to celebrate the movie, which is set to hit theatres on the 16th of next month.

Among the attendees at the bash were Don Cheadle, who also co-stars in Space Jam 2 along with rappers Chris Brown, G-Eazy, and Machine Gun Kelly, and Megan Fox. There’s been a lot of anticipation for the sequel to this movie and this was a night to honor LeBron James and the team’s hard work to make the film. Tyga and Breezy even took part in a fun hoop challenge at the event.

As for the King, he is staying busy in the offseason. Aside from the Space Jam 2 release quickly approaching, James will surely also have his say in the decisions that LA makes when it comes to free agency. There are numerous players on their roster who aren’t under contract following the conclusion of the 2020/21 campaign, including Dennis Schroder, Talen Horton-Tucker, and Alex Caruso.

There will likely be a slightly different look for the Lakers next season when it comes to the supporting cast around AD and LeBron James, but for now, he’s focused on seeing Space Jam 2 finally hit the big screen.
