Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James jokingly sent out a recruiting pitch to former Laker and fan favorite Metta World Peace when told that World Peace was ready for a 10-day contract. World Peace took to Twitter and shared a hilarious response to LeBron's recruiting pitch.

That's a hilarious response from former Lakers forward Metta World Peace to LeBron James. World Peace is saying that he's not ready for a 10-day contract but is definitely ready for a 10-minute one.

One can just see the Adrian Wojnarowski or Shams Charania report on Twitter, saying that LeBron and the Lakers have signed Metta World Peace to a 10-minute contract worth two fast breaks up and down the court.

At this point, LeBron would probably take World Peace up on that 10-minute offer, seeing as James has played 39-plus minutes in each of his last two games played. LeBron could probably use a quick breather!

World Peace last played for the Lakers during the 2015 and 2016 campaigns, though his most notable stint in Los Angeles occurred from 2009-2012, when he won a championship with Los Angeles.

A former four-time All-Defensive first team member, perhaps even 10 minutes of a 42-year-old World Peace would help LeBron and the Lakers on the defensive end, where they've allowed the fourth-most points per game in the NBA.

Not only is Metta World Peace not going to join LeBron James and the Lakers for a 10-day contract, but he's also not even promising 10 minutes. Keep enjoying retirement, Metta.
