Golden State Warriors guard Nick Young and Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma appear to be on the same page when it comes to the level of fashion in the NBA these days. In fact, both players believe that too much time and energy is spent on how players look and that it can potentially become a distraction from the more important things.

It was Young who first shared his apparent disapproval in today's NBA fashion game via Twitter. Based on his reply, Kuzma was obviously on the same wavelength.

The exchange went on with Young pleading to the younger Kuzma to become the voice of reason for his generation. There were no commitments on Kuzma's end, as he did not appear to be willing to take on such an immense responsibility.

L.A. Clippers guard and reigning Sixth Man of the Year awardee Lou Williams could not help but chime in on the conversation. Although he did agree with the sentiment, Williams also took a shot at Young, saying that his former teammate is not exactly the best advocate for this cause.

As entertaining as this may be, there is certainly some truth to the statement made here. Some NBA stars do get a bit carried away when it comes to their pre-game ensembles. But then again, so long as they put the work in and are able to perform at the highest level, then, in the words of Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Russell Westbrook — “why not?”
