Rajon Rondo of the Los Angeles Lakers isn't one to come up short in the trash-talking department, and he didn't use this special holiday as an exemption to do so.

According to Tania Ganguli of The Los Angeles Times, the notorious point guard used a Home Alone reference to give reporters a very special greeting for Christmas:

Nothing like spreading the Christmas cheer as only Mr. Rondo can.

The Golden State Warriors felt every bit of Rajon Rondo's dose of holiday cheer, as he paced the young Lakers to a 127-101 road win against the defending champions on Christmas Day. Rondo finished with 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting while adding five rebounds and 10 assists in 23 minutes off the bench.

Lakers superstar forward LeBron James went down early in the second half and was diagnosed with a strained groin. With LeBron ruled out for the rest of the game, Rondo took over to help the Lakers fend off the defending champs.

Los Angeles was in cruise control until James suffered his injury. When the three-time MVP went down, the Lakers appeared to be flustered with their leader's exit. Golden State took advantage of this, going on an 11-0 run to trim the lead down to a single basket.

Luckily for this young squad, a stable leader like Rajon Rondo was there to step up. Rondo orchestrated the offense, provided hustle, and anchored the defense to guide the Lakers to the holiday blowout.

Rondo just came back from a hand injury that sidelined him for 17 games. It seems like they'll need more performances like these from him, as LeBron James may miss some time with his recent injury.
