Anthony Davis carried on with his torrid run with an even more dominant performance in Game 2 on Friday against the Miami Heat. The 27-year-old pretty much had his way against a hapless Miami defense, which in the mind of Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo, is something he expects from Davis on a nightly basis.

Rondo did not seem overly impressed with Davis' heroics on Friday:

This speaks volumes of what a supreme talent Anthony Davis is. His teammates get to bare witness to his greatness every day, which is likely why nothing he does during games surprises them anymore. This appears to be exactly the case for Rondo. It goes without saying, though, that there's a bit of a motivational message from Rondo there for his All-Star teammate.

Davis finished Game 2 with 32 points on a very efficient 15-of-20 from the floor. He also logged 14 rebounds, an assist, and a steal in 40 minutes of play. AD is now averaging 33.0 points in his first two Finals appearances after his 34-point effort in Game 1. In the process, he's matched an earlier record set by none other than Kevin Durant:

Davis has shown no signs of slowing down, too. Simply put, the Heat have no answer for Davis at the moment, and with All-Star big man Bam Adebayo in danger of missing more time due to a shoulder problem, Miami will need to get very creative with their attempt to try and contain Davis in Game 3 on Sunday and for the rest of what has been a lopsided series thus far.
