The Los Angeles Lakers are rumored to be looking to trade Kyle Kuzma, with multiple teams reportedly inquiring about the third-year forward.

According to Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times, general manager and new vice president of basketball operations Rob Pelinka “has had conversations with multiple teams in which Kuzma was discussed.”

The reporting league-wide has centered around Kyle Kuzma, who is one of the Lakers’ most tradeable talents. Pelinka has had conversations with more than one team in which Kuzma was discussed, according to people familiar with those talks. He’s a good young player who has shown a great deal of promise and who has a team-friendly contract.

One recent rumor said that Pelinka and the Lakers explored a trade for Kuzma for Sacramento Kings swingman Bogdan Bogdanovic. The Serbian is is averaging 14.5 points and 3.6 assists per game this 2019-20 season, all while shooting 42.6 percent from the field and 38.3 percent from 3-point range.

For his part, Kuzma has been up-and-down with the Lakers this season since returning from an ankle injury he sustained during the summer. He is currently averaging a career-low 12.0 points and 3.6 rebounds while shooting 42.5 percent from the field, 34.6 percent from deep and 74.6 percent from the free-throw line.

On the other hand, according to the LA Times report, every player on the Lakers roster is tradeable save for star forwards LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

For what it's worth, Davis is a free agent following the conclusion of the 2019-20 campaign. Nevertheless, all reports indicate the former New Orleans Pelicans big man plans to sign a massive contract as a free agent in the summer with the Lakers instead of signing an extension early, which could be overall less money.
