The Los Angeles Lakers agreed on a huge blockbuster trade with the Washington Wizards to bring Russell Westbrook to town and pair him with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The move sent everybody into a frenzy, and Westbrook posted a simple Tweet on Friday as reality began to set in.

Westbrook returns to Los Angeles where he played his college ball as a member of the UCLA Bruins. Not just that, but the trio of Westbrook, LeBron, and Davis is one of the best in the league. The question now remains about how they fill out the rest of their roster.

Still, the trade sent away Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and the No. 22 pick in the NBA Draft to snag Westbrook. It appears Westbrook is happy to be with the Lakers, and LeBron James posted on Instagram about his excitement after the deal.

The Lakers now have a lot of holes to fill on their roster with NBA free agency kicking off in a few days, but rest assured, people will want to come to the Lakers and take less money as they aim to win a championship.

Stay tuned, the Lakers' offseason is only beginning, and the addition of Russell Westbrook is the first of many more to come, or so it seems.
