Russell Westbrook joined forces with LeBron James and Anthony Davis this summer on the Los Angeles Lakers, giving him a legitimate chance to win an NBA title. By no surprise, Russ isn't taking that opportunity for granted and is making sure to put in serious work as he gets ready for the 2021/22 campaign:

Absolute aggression from Westbrook. He was also seen training with Bron earlier this summer. The Lakers enjoyed a fantastic offseason, adding numerous pieces as well. LA brought in the likes of Carmelo Anthony, Kendrick Nunn, Trevor Ariza, and Malik Monk to surround their superstar trio.

After a first-round exit in the playoffs last season, LeBron and the Lakers will be poised to make a run at it once again. They've done everything possible to put themselves in that position, although there have been doubters saying their current roster is too old.

But, that's just been motivation to James and the rest of the squad, who know they have the talent to compete for an NBA championship. In Westbrook, the Lakers and their fans are getting an electrifying do-it-all guard who will surely make everyone around him better. As you can see by his offseason work, there's no shortage of fire in his belly to be playing back at home where he grew up.

This should be an exciting season for the Lakers.
