But instead of letting that get to him, he proceeded to make several game-winning plays to will the Los Angeles Lakers to victory. He forced the strip on the other end then pushed the tempo and draining the game-tying triple to force overtime.
After the game, Russell Westbrook was asked about how he managed to muster up the confidence to make the game-saving play and shot moments after a disastrous attempt from deep. The Lakers guard had the perfect answer.
“Um, I got 23,000 points. How about that?” said Westbrook.

Russell Westbrook has never been shy of confidence. That's why it's no surprise that he remained undeterred in the game despite a forgettable moment. It was actually his poise and even-keeled temperament throughout the game that was noticeable as he stayed composed and made the right plays when the Lakers needed him to.
Westbrook's resume speaks for itself. He may have had his down moments this season, but he's still a future Hall of Famer who's more than capable of impacting the game the right way.
