Los Angeles Lakers star Russell Westbrook caught some stray bullets on Sunday after San Antonio Spurs rookie Jeremy Sochan highlighted the usual mockery thrown at him.

Sochan was playing a game of word association for Bleacher Report alongside Malaki Branham. Sochan picked the word “triple-double” which he had to guess while his fellow Spurs rookie provides him with clues.

Since triple-double is usually associated with Westbrook (he's the trip-dub king after all!), Branham said that it's something that Westbrook “gets a lot.” In a rather funny and savage turn of events, Sochan answered “bricks.”

Yikes!

Here's a clip of the funny exchange:

For those familiar with Russell Westbrook's reputation, Jeremy Sochan's answer is not surprising. Sure it's savage, but not shocking. The efficiency of the Lakers star when it comes to shooting has always been a major concern, and it's the reason why Skip Bayless and other haters call him “Westbrick”–which of course Russ absolutely abhors.

Sochan did request for Bleacher Report to “not put that one in,” but since a lot of viewers caught the moment, it's rather too late. We don't know if Westbrook has seen the video, but if not, he'll likely view it soon anyway considering that it is now going viral.

Here's to hoping that Westbrook will take the joke in stride. Still, Sochan should probably wish that he won't make a big deal out of it, especially amid rumors that Russ could end up in San Antonio to facilitate the Kyrie Irving trade to the Lakers.
