NBA fans around the world love to get fired about different rankings. One of the common debates is about the Mount Rushmore or simply the best players in the franchise. Few teams make this as difficult as the Los Angeles Lakers. Shaq recently weighed in on Twitter to poke some fun at himself on the list of Lakers greats.

To start with, it is very cool to see Shaq with the self-awareness to give credit to the other greats. The Hall of Famer has done an impressive job of becoming one of the most marketable and personable NBA players in his post-playing days. Comparing the Lakers greats of Magic Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Shaquille O'Neal is a tough task. This visual also sneakily hides Kobe in the corner and makes him difficult to see.

While it is a credit to Shaq for being humble, it should not be forgotten how great he was on the court. The 15-time all-star is a three-time scoring champ, one-time NBA MVP, and three-time Finals MVP. His career averages of 23.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.3 blocks per game establish him as an all-time great. He also changed his style of play greatly throughout his career and remained successful.

This does not change what a difficult task it would be to kick off one of the players from this picture. Each guy has a strong argument for their place among the all-time greats. The Lakers certainly have an impressive collection of all-time players who served as the face of the franchise during their time.
