Tom Brady wants to face Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James in a one-in-one battle of some of the oldest men in American sports. But so no one will have an advantage, they won't be playing American Football or basketball.
During LeBron's Twitter Q&A, Brady joined in the fun and asked James who would win in five rounds of an ice hockey shootout between them. The Lakers star said he'll probably come out on top, but “barely” considering the age they are in.
James also noted he might be “swinging from my knees” when that shootout happens. Of course the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB couldn't help but laugh off at the response.

Now who wouldn't want to see that Tom Brady vs. LeBron James ice hockey shootout? Perhaps with the NBA playoffs soon coming to an end, the Lakers star and Buccaneers icon can treat everyone some sports entertainment by making that showdown a reality.
Considering LeBron's athleticism and age, our money is on him to win. But hey, we can't blame others if they want to bet on Brady. After all, in football, it is never a good thing to bet against one of the greatest, or who many consider the GOAT himself.
Fortunately, this is ice hockey we're talking about.
