DeMarcus Cousins has been busy getting into his top physical condition this summer. On Saturday, however, the new Los Angeles Lakers center had a little bit of free time on his hands and decided to take a peak at the BIG3.

Slim Boogie is looking good out there. The four-time All-Star has been working hard this summer and shed a lot of weight as he prepares for a redemption campaign this upcoming 2019-20 season.

The Lakers signed Cousins on a bargain one-year, $3.5-million deal, giving the former All-NBA center an opportunity to show that he can still be an elite player in this league.

Cousins has been battling with injuries over the past two seasons. After rupturing his Achilles in the middle of the 2017-18 season, Cousins joined the Golden State Warriors on a one-year, $5.3-million deal. However, he struggled to stay in shape throughout the 2018-19 campaign and often looked slow and a step behind on the court.

To add to his misery, the 6-foot-11 center suffered a torn quad two games into his first playoffs appearance. Cousins worked his way back and surprisingly returned in time for the NBA Finals. Nonetheless, it was clear at that point that Boogie just didn't have his legs beneath him to be a major factor for the then two-time defending champions.
