Anthony Davis is soaking in as much of the Los Angeles experience before he gets his debut campaign with the Los Angeles Lakers rolling. On Tuesday night, with the L.A. Dodgers hosting “Lakers night”, the newly-minted Lakers superstar attended their game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Before heading into the stands to watch the game, Davis hung around the Dodgers clubhouse to meet up with the boys. However, that agenda almost became a disaster when Cody Bellinger left Davis hanging when the latter went in for a dap. Fortunately, the Dodgers' first baseman and outfielder was able to make the save.

Come on Cody, don't do The Brow like that. Good on AD for taking it in stride, as well.

Davis' arrival to the Purple and Gold has instantly made the Lakers championship contenders next season. However, they suffered a devastating blow last week when center DeMarcus Cousins blew out his knee during a workout in Las Vegas. They are currently thoroughly exploring what's left of the free agency market and weighing their options for a replacement big man.

Nevertheless, the Lakers still have arguably two of the top five players in the league in AD and LeBron James.

Their city counter-parts, the L.A. Clippers has also established itself as a legitimate threat in the Western Conference. They had a massive off-season, acquiring arguably the two best two-way superstars in the league with Paul George and reigning Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard.

The City of Angels will be spoiled next season with both the Lakers and Clippers fielding in their star-studded duos.
