Heartbroken fans continue to flock outside the Staples Center to pay their respects to the fallen basketball icon and Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant who died from a helicopter crash on Sunday.

A goosebumps-inducing clip shared by ESPN's Dave McMenamin on Monday featured an aerial shot of a mob chanting the five-time NBA champion's name.

More than 24 hours since news broke of Bryant's demise, fans all over the world continue to mourn by performing touching tributes — from vigils, to murals, among other things. A video of his final game for the Lakers against the Utah Jazz back in April 13, 2016 is also being broadcasted from several sports media across the globe.

The Lakers, meanwhile, has been home to several iconic figures over the years like Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Shaquille O'Neal, and Magic Johnson, among others. But Bryant's impact and influence have undoubtedly made him the most popular athlete to ever don the Purple and Gold.

Kobe Bryant is expected to be inducted posthumously to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame this year. Fans have also been lobbying the NBA to follow the Dallas Mavericks' gesture of retiring Bryant's number 24 league-wide.
