Los Angeles Lakers superstar forward LeBron James is still one of the most revered athletes on the planet — which might be an understatement. As a result, it has to be a surreal experience for those getting coached by James at the AAU level, as the future Hall of Famer continues to lead his son, Bronny James, toward an NBA playing career of his own.
The elder James took things one step further this weekend as his AAU coaching reached some serious heights in terms of intensity. Upon coaching his son this time around, James couldn't be more animated, especially when Bronny made a key play.
It is no secret that James wants to play in the NBA alongside his son if the opportunity presents itself. While such an opportunity doesn't come around very often, it still remains possible for the James family given Bronny's age and the length of James' current contract with the Lakers.
With that in mind, one can obviously see why James is so into his son's basketball career even at such a young age. Hopefully, LeBron and his son can play together in the NBA and show fans a father and son tandem that is yet to be seen in the league.
