Since inking the four-year, $153 million deal to join the Los Angeles Lakers, All-Star forward LeBron James has picked up his offseason workout regimen over the last several days.

He has taken to social media to share a bit of what he does.

One of the latest videos he posted featured him rapping along with Notorious B.I.G.'s Long Kiss Goodnight as he takes a break between workout sessions.

Beyond the passion for 90s rap, James has ramped up his work toward being ready for his 16th season in the league where he will have the new challenge of leading the Lakers back into prominence in the league. The franchise is currently in the midst of the longest playoff drought in team history with five consecutive seasons missing the postseason.

James' arrival should immediately change that. He will bring forth a level of excitement that has been missing for quite some time from the franchise that has had a long history of success. This is providing another level of motivation for him to prove on the court next season that he can still perform at an elite level while guiding Los Angeles to possibly compete for an NBA title. His tremendous work ethic on and off the field has played a major factor in helping maintain his performance on the court this late into his career where many of his peers saw their respective games drop off.

The 33-year-old is a unique talent that has continued to separate himself as one of the best players that have played the game and this next chapter of his career in Los Angeles could go a long way in further cementing that status. If anything, these various workout videos should create more buzz and excitement toward what's to come on the court this upcoming season.
