Lamar Jackson was the unanimous 2019 NFL regular season MVP. Now the superstar quarterback of the Baltimore Ravens is enjoying another strong campaign in 2020.
However, he may have hit a snag. On Wednesday Jackson missed practice due to a knee injury. Now according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, Jackson is out again on Thursday as concern for his knee grows.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (knee) is not practicing for a second straight day. Starting RG Tyre Phillips (shoulder) also sidelined for a second consecutive day. Other players not practicing: RB Mark Ingram, NT Brandon Williams (gets vet days on Thursday)

Jackson has thrown for just 769 yards so far this year. However, he already has seven passing touchdowns compared to just one interception. At the same time, he also has an incredible 235 rushing yards and one more touchdown on the ground.
Most importantly though, the Ravens are 3-1. Of course, Lamar Jackson has a lot to do with that success. He is an incredible quarterback and an absolute threat that opponents have to worry about at all time.
With that in mind, if he misses any time, that could be bad news for the Ravens. There is a reason Jackson was the unanimous MVP last year.

Going against the 1-2-1 Cincinnati Bengals is certainly a winnable game, so if there was ever a time for Lamar Jackson to miss a game, it might be right now.
That being said, it will still hurt not having your superstar quarterback out on the field. It makes everything that much more difficult.
With that in mind, it is important to note that Jackson has not been ruled out yet. Concern for his knee is growing, but the quarterback not practicing at the moment does not mean he is out for Sunday's contest.
With Jackson's status up in the air, he might be the most notable questionable for Week 5. Hopefully his knee heals up and he is back on the field soon, but there is no need to rush him. Expect the Ravens to be cautious with this injury.
